I studied abroad in San Ramón, Costa Rica with the program USAC, during the summer of 2022. There I lived with a host mom and took classes at the local university. I was able to go on weekend trips with friends to places such as Montezuma, Santa Teresa, Monteverde, Playa Hermosa and so much more. I was greatly immersed in the culture as I had to learn to speak the language, eat the food, and take public transportation. I am forever grateful for my time spent in Costa Rica along with many memories. This experience helped shape me into the confident and proficient Spanish speaker I am today.
